Official Sweepstakes Rules
- No Purchase Necessary: This contest is sponsored by Reside, LLC. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter this contest. Reside reserves the right to modify the rules of this contest in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given.
- How to Enter: In order to enter the contest, you need to complete an entry form online at www.theresiders.com (the “Site”) between 1/25/2007 and 3/31/2007. You may submit multiple entries. Reside assumes no responsibility for lost, illegible, incomplete, unconfirmed, damaged, late or misdirected entries, all of which will be void. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CST, 3/31/2007.
- Eligibility: This contest is open to legal residents of United States of America who are 18 years of age or older. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted. Employees of Reside or any companies owned by or affiliated with Reside, and members of those employees’ families, are not eligible to enter or win. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this contest will be ineligible for any prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
- Selection of Winners: There will be a drawing for one winner each week for ten weeks; the first week’s drawing will include only three days of entries from 1/25/2007 through 1/27/2007. Eligible entries received before the deadline for that week’s drawing will be entered into that week’s drawing, from which one winner will be chosen at random. The decisions of the contest judges regarding entries and winners will be final. The winner will be notified by e-mail and/or phone within five (5) days of the drawing. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Prize: The winner of each week’s drawing will receive a prize consisting of one $15 iTunes Gift Card good for use on the iTunes website store at http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/. After the contest ends on 3/31/2007, each of the ten weekly winners will be entered into a drawing where one winner will be randomly selected to receive a Maverick Bobblehead Prize Pack. Approximate value of the Maverick Bobblehead Prize Pack is $50. To claim a prize, the winner must provide proper photo identification and must sign and send to Reside, within ten (10) days of prize notification, such eligibility affidavits and prize acceptance documentation as Reside may provide; failure to claim prize in such manner shall result in forfeiture of the prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Reside to use a winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast or new media, in perpetuity, in any manner they deem appropriate in connection with promoting this or any other giveaway and/or promotion sponsored by them, without further compensation in connection with this giveaway or the prize awarded.
- Limitation of Liability: By participating, entrants agree that Reside, those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this promotion and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this contest, including entry and participation in this contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any such prizes. Reside shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading and/or participating in any part of this contest. In the event of any third-party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this contest, entrants will indemnify Reside from any and all such claims, including the attorney fees related thereto.
- Governing Law: This contest shall be governed by Minnesota law. By participating in this contest, entrants agree that Minnesota courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this contest and that venue shall be only in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Rules/Winners List: Winners’ names will be posted on the Site within twenty-one (21) days of selection. To receive a copy of the Official Rules, or a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Reside LLC, Prize Giveaway, 2815 Wayzata Blvd, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55405-2125. Specify Winner’s List or Official Rules on your request. WA and VT residents may omit return postage.
