Act like a groupie (but dress in reasonably professional attire).  Follow the Residers on tour, as we hit venues across the Twin Cities to promote our message and Rock for a Cause!  Here’s where The Residers’ have been up to lately...

Saturday, Sept 13, 2008: Ridin' for a Cause!  Thanks to all who joined us for our second annual motorcycle ride and fundraising event for KS95 for Kids!  Check out all the pictures! A huge thanks to our rockin' sponsors - Green Mill Restaurants and Häagen-Dazs®!

August 7th, 2008: We do a lot of hard work to support local children and their families.  One of the most grueling commitments we've made is to participate annually in Miracle Treat Day, which requires each Resider to eat a Dairy Queen blizzard, to raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network.  And this year, we again rose to this challenge.  See the Residers hard at work here.

July 23, 2008: Another year, another race, and lots of thirsty runners!  The Residers turned out in a big way to serve water at this year's Lifetime Fitness Torchlight Run, proceeds of which benefit KS95 For Kids.  Fifteen rockin' volunteers (photos) kept the racers hydrated, including two runnin' Residers who got "accidentally drenched" while passing by the water stop.  It was a beautiful night in Minneapolis, made more so by the cause we were there to support.

March 6th, 2008: The Residers ROCKED the phones at the KS95 For Kids annual radiothon this March.  Several of our staff members invested their time to take and make calls to raise funds for Gillette children's Specialty Healthcare and Children's Cancer Research Fund.  As always, it was fun to get our band together to volunteer for a great cause, and so inspiring to hear the stories shared by children and families whose lives have been touched by childhood illness or disabilities.  We're proud be Rockin' for a very worthy causeCheck out some photos of the event!

Nearly $10K Raised!  January of 2008 kicked off a new year of raising awareness and funds on behalf of KS95 For Kids.  Since the introduction of our band last year, we've now raised nearly $10,000 to benefit local children and their families.  A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our "fans" (clients, partners, employees, and friends) for their generous support.  You all ROCK!

Reside also continues to sponsor the organization's Web site at www.KS95forkids.com, and our staff members proudly volunteer at events throughout the year in support of both Children's Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.  We will be Rockin' for a Cause year-round, and it's never too late to add your support!  Make a donation today, and be a ROCKSTAR in the life of a child!

October 25th, 2007: "The Residers" Campaign Recognized for Best Practices in Community Impact.  The Upsize Magazine Business Builders Awards and Seminar event recognizes "some of the fastest-growing and most innovative companies around".

On October 25th, 2007 - Reside was recognized as one of the Twin Cities' leaders in the category of "Best Practices in Community Impact".  As part of a seminar panel group, Reside shared the story of the birth of our band - The Residers - and how we have leveraged our unique culture and story to raise awareness and funds for the KS95 For Kids program.

August 9th, 2007: When it comes to raising funds for a good cause, The Residers are always willing to make sacrifices.  So when this year's Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day rolled around, we rolled up our sleeves and got right down to task - ordering and eating a slew of Dairy Queen blizzards.  It was hard work, but we all agreed that the end result was worth the enormous effort.  Afterall - we're not setting out to save the world, but we are Rockin' for a Cause to make a difference in kids' lives - one DQ blizzard at a time!  See photos of the band's DQ outing.

July 18th, 2007: The Residers are on the road again...but this time we're serving H2O to some thirsty runners of the Lifetime Fitness Torchlight Run.  The race, which kicked off the CenterPoint Energy Parade and Aquatennial festivities, was also a fundraiser for the KS95 For Kids program.  And you know how we feel about those kids.  We couldn't miss the chance to support a fun event, benefitting a great cause.  See pictures of The Residers at work!

June 2nd, 2007:  The Residers hit the pavement to raise funds in support of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and Children’s Cancer Research Fund.  Our first annual motorcycle "Ride for a Cause" raised over $300 for KS95 for Kids, despite a major rainstorm that put a bit of a damper on rider attendance.   (What is it with The Residers and major weather activity, anyway?  See previous posting below!)  The Residers rode on through the storm, and are looking forward to making the ride an annual tradition - hopefully with more sun next year!  See pictures here.

March 1st-3rd, 2007: The Residers brave blizzard conditions to support the cause at the annual KS95 For Kids radiothon event - held live at Ridgedale Mall in Minnetonka.  No amount of snow was going to slow us down!  Inside our parkas we held over $4,000 in cash and checks raised in the first two months of our Rockin' for a Cause mission - which we were thrilled to donate during a live on-air interview with KS95's Moon (from the Moon and Staci show).  Several members of the band showed their support by manning the donation phone lines and placing outbound calls to friends and family to raise additional funds.

The entire experience was humbling, heart-warming, and inspiring.  Our deep thanks and appreciation go out to the folks of KS95, Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, and CCRF for their dedication in pulling this event together each and every year!  Despite the major winter storm, the ninth annual KS95 for Kids® Radiothon raised $912,950, increasing its grand fundraising total to more than $9.5 million for Children's Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

Take a look at The Residers in action - See photos of the radiothon here!  And, learn more about how we're Rockin' for a Cause ALL YEAR long!

February 17th, 2007: Catch photos of the band during their tour stop in Minneapolis, MN (Golden Valley, to be exact).  The group united for a belated Holiday party, at which members partnered up for an intense - but generally friendly - Guitar Hero™ playoff.  The tournament winner (Adam Fudge, one of Reside's multi-talented Project Managers) took home a Bose® SoundDock® System for his iPod.  Now that rocks.  Here's the photo album!

December 11th, 2006: The Residers visit Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare to understand first-hand how their Rockin’ for a Cause efforts will benefit local children with disabilities.  What an experience!  Get first-hand reflections from members of our band.
